Another urgent help
« on: 10 March 2015, 13:26:07 »

Hi guys on my way home, aux belt tensioner broke into pieces, belt want FUBAR >:(....omega is now on the parking by the motorway... What tools will I need to replace tensioner and aux belt on the spot? Can I remove tensioner without taking cambelt cover off? As far as I've checked only two pipes/hoses need to be unbolted to gain acces to put aux belt on, and only one small vacuum hose at the bottom is knackered as the result of belt cutting lose. Guys if anyone can tell me please what tools will I need.. :'(

Thanks in advance, Stan

And one more thing, what is the part number ob tensioner pulley? I can just hope whole tensioner unit isn't broken

15 or 17mm ring spanner(I can't recall the size off the top of my head :-[ but it is one or tother), a new aux tensioner pulley, aux belt and a torx socket, E10? for the aircon pipe bracket :y

A 2' breaker bar and socket the same size as the spanner will make light work of fitting the belt. :y
