Pikey astronauts???
« on: 24 April 2015, 10:52:58 »

Was watching a very interesting programme on NHK about 'space junk'. Apparently the Japanese are trying to develop a system to clear all the man made junk from space. They estimate there to being about 15,000 metal objects floating around out there, and are developing a system using electro-magnetism to bring the stuff back towards earth so that it burns up in our atmosphere. Not if the pikeys find a way of getting there first....  :y

Under-steer is when the front of the car hits the wall, and over-steer is when the rear of the car hits the wall.
Power is how fast you hit the wall and torque is how much of the wall you take with you.

That conjures up a picture of a Transit that looks a bit like the cover of ZZ Top's Afterburner album!

It would be so much more fun to use them for target practice.

Not if you happen to live in the borough of Tonbridge and Malling they wanted the council pikeys) to build them a camp on the out skirts of Tunbridge wells....so in the sprit of TMBC they built the camp on the Maidstone borough council boundary (on the out skirts of Maidstone)...the only objection was from Kent police has the camp backs onto their garage....their objection was due to the safety of their cars........... :o :y

Why do they want to clear it? Is it a problem to satellites or space travel or something like that?

Slightly off topic, I was sitting in the car yesterday while Miss Vamps was having her nails done..... ::) ::) While sitting I heard the music from 'Steptoe and Son' Scrap collector playing the music, like an Ice cream van, thought it was a cracking idea........... :y :y

Yep, launch windows are getting narrower due to the problem.
