My 3.2 v6

Daftly I didn't change the rear crank seal when I transplanted the new engine, there was none in stock and I had no reason to believe it would leak.

Upon starting the old girl she runs great (aside of rattling exhaust) but I'm getting a significant amount of oil from the bellhousing to block join, idle for an hour and switch off, you get a nice little puddle

Camcover joints bone dry. Plenum removed and v all dry.

No oil running down sides of bellhousing or block just leaking at bottom

Removed bungs, the rear of the flex plate is shiny from oil all over

Crank seal? Breathers squeaky clear.

I'm sadly not well enough to cope with the weight of dropping a box at the moment, so it'll probably go to serek

I hate to admit defeat but realistically I would do myself some harm if I attempted it at the mo

No longer sure it is the crank seal, nice puddle below front crank pulley too!!

Need to take another look in the v me thinks

Same happened to mine james , its now at sereks . When i cleaned all the oil up i went underneath to see where it was coming from , im suspecting cam seals and crank seal
