Bloke down the pub said, with tomtom on an a tablet right in the middle of your view, there's no reason to look outside. At all.

Must be true. Bloke said, down the the pub. He was drinking water tough. :-\

Not all of the above require data, download at home and away you go! Navmii being one such app, its basic but its free.

Google maps on a phone is free too  :y I use it on my iphone for sat nav...it does traffic too...however if you haven't got a data plan, you can download and save areas of maps on wifi and then use in offline mode  :y ....can be handy if you have got a data plan...but loose signal  ;)

I can't see the point of a large screen, as a small one has always been enough for me. It's not as if she's going to drive along continually looking at the damn thing. Is she?

Oh, and Tom-Tom for me everytime.

I fitted a cupholder to the air vent on my MFL and then fitted a Large screen Tomtom in a mount that dropped into the cupholder. No fiddling with the mount on the back, just lift out  :y

Could have been worse. Could have been something with no flavour at all like Carling. ::)

I tend to use street view before I go,  look at the key junctions, then I reconise them on route  :y

I'd love an Android Watch. Be good for Sat Nav on the bike!

Yes, I do that too............. :y :y

However my latest car has Sat Nav built in, love using it, but you need to know where you are going, roughly, as it sometimes try to take me the 'wrong' way....... ::) ::)
