My favourite pastime is deleting pointless threads  8-)

...so why is this one still around?  :o
Coz to delete it means I have to validate my session, and therefore involves effort on my part ;)
Does that mean we've got free reign then?

From www.phrases.org.uk:

'WHEN THE CAT IS AWAY, THE MICE WILL PLAY - "When someone in charge is away, subordinates will take advantage of it. The proverb is similar to the Latin: Dum felis dormit, mus gaudet et exsi litantro ('When the cat falls asleep, the mouse rejoices and leaps from the hole') and to the early fourteenth century French: Ou chat na rat regne ('Where there is no cat, the rat is king'). The proverb has been traced back in English to about 1470, and was used by Shakespeare in 'Henry the Fifth,' in 1599. It is first attested in the United States in 'Port Folio' (1802)." From the "Random House Dictionary of Popular Proverbs and Sayings" by Gregory Y. Titelman (Random House, New York, 1996).'

Let me test the water:

Synthetic oil is far superior to semi-synthetic. I have been using acme anti-grade mega-synthetic 0W-10 oil for the past 2 miles and had no problems other than a blown engine. BT Ultimate is better then Shell Optimax which contains goats' urine. The 3.0 Litre is a waste of space, no Omega need have more than 2.5.

Watch this space - if this post is still here in 5 minutes, you’re safe - post away.

No more effort then it took you to reduce me to newbie in the first place

Seems you're lucky, as my session had already been validated. Probably when I reduced it earlier ;D

You'll be a Knight in 2 mins I reckon :y
