Well she`s made her mind up, it has to be a Polo in black circa 2001/2  :-X

Not like they grow on trees is it lol, we went to look at one this morning, one owner, FSH but with the aircon not working and it sounded like a diesel (possible manifold gasket) and it was over priced.....the search continues ::)

Presumably you wouldn't pay anything like £1500 for one.

Not at all, the one we went to look at was up for just shy of £1500, one owner, FSH and 64k on the clock but the aircon wasn`t working and if it was a simple regas I`m sure he would have done it so there`s possibly more to it than that. Add to that the exhaust sounded like it was blowing from the manifold, missing cup holder and what looked liked a some paintwork sprayed on the lower quarter panel and it`s £500 more than the other Polo`s of that age.

I`ve talked her into looking at a silver one that's up for £995 with 2 owners and 85k on the clock so we`ll see what that`s like.
