Apartment in Paris
« on: 05 August 2015, 14:19:45 »

My son as part of his uni course is spending a year in France as a language assistant in a French secondary school from October. His employment will be in Gennevilliers but we want to find him a small furnished apartment in Paris for a year from September.

Any advice or leads please let me know.

Thanks

Can't help with an apartment, but good luck to him! Its especially important to practice shrugging and grunting as forms of communication, too... ;)

I used to live there and I have plenty of contacts.

Send me a PM with requirements and budget and I will hit up my buddies and add my own advice.  I pretty much did the same thing and spent my placement year there working in IT for Xerox :y

I work in Lyon now though and I find it so much nicer than Paris (and more welcoming to us rosbifs) indeed if I had come here instead of Paris I may never had left france.  That said I had a pretty amasing 5 years in Paris, just a shame about the lack of career progression in IT over there.  Once in a box.....
