European Tour
« on: 24 August 2015, 23:33:04 »

This years tour of Europe in the MIG took in Gassin (near St Tropez), La Rochelle, Caen, Bayeux, the Normandy beaches, museums, monuments and cemeteries, over 27 days

From the computer
2555 miles
26 Mpg average
Just over 65 hours of driving
47 MPH average

And the only problem was the throttle position error which I set off with

Not bad for a 12 yr old car

A few pics

Excellent. I hope you recruited some of the Omega drivers (and the Saudi fellow) to the forum.

I do love a good road trip, these old barges really can hack them even at this age.  :)

Museum behind you on other side of road to your car, cemetery behind you, over the main road?

(I vaguely remember walking down that road during the 70th anniversary of the D-Day landings, only it looks so much different when its not as busy ;D)

Didn't see any drivers, would have though.
Left UK, toured France, returned to UK went to Portsmouth (Victory, Mary Rose, etc), Winchester, Stonehenge then home so yes a European Tour (technically  :-X )
