OOps locked out.
« on: 15 September 2015, 08:52:11 »

Hi all , been a lurker on these forums for quite a while & have picked up a lot about the omega, but cant find a solution to my current problem.

I own a 2000 omega 2.5 auto.

My car would not start and i flattened the battery trying to get it going , anyway I popped the hood closed the drivers door and locked it, took the battery out , run inside and put it on charge , closing the hood after taking the battery out.

So this morning I take the battery off charge , take it to the car and then try to open the car by putting the key in the door lock, only to find all it does is click. arghhhh I cant get in to the car to pop the hood .

Any one able to tell me how to get in to the car , without busting a window ?

any suggestions appreciated  & thanking you all in advance

Turn the key in the drivers lock hard, it will pop the dead locks.....although it will feel like the key will snap (it wont!)
