Plip compatability?
« on: 15 September 2015, 12:58:15 »

Owner of a PFL with the two-button fob type plip and my question is...

can any make of 'plip/fob' be reprogrammed with Tech 2 etc to my car's ECU, or does it have to be a Megamos-to-Megamos, Bosch-to-Bosch etc?

Found a source of some but don't want to buy a couple to find they're useless, is all.  :)

Much appreciation in advance people!

When I was after one for mine TB advised I need there correct one, megamos I think it was but it is written on the board inside the fob. Something about the hertz comes to mind also  but again I think that is on the board.
