In this months Practical Clasics is a readers restoration of one of his favourite cars the Alfa Romeo Montreal.The stats they give for it are 2593cc 8cyl dohc 200bhp @6500rpm,173lb/ft@4750rpm,138mph.0-60 in 7.6 and 24mpg.Price new[1972] was £5077 a good chunk of beer tokens back then and value now £35,000-£50,000,so pocket change to lord Opti ;D Also in same issue another readers resto this time of a 1989 Carlton 3000GSI.for those into their big Vauxhalls.
