Exhaust compatibility
« on: 21 October 2015, 14:08:22 »

Sorry to have to ask this...but what exactly fits what with exhaust parts. I am searching the web, and for instance, on the bay...its says, fits 2.5, 2.6 and 3.0 saloon. Some links say fits 2.6 only, etc, etc

Will estate parts fit a saloon.....talking mainly centre sections. I am well baffled.
I have been offered a 3.0 estate complete exhaust by a member....

One link for a centre section on the bay says 2.6 OBD engine...what's that
Are all the rod connections for the rubbers all in the same place on centre sections? I know the back boxes are different.
Sorry folks, but I am baffled (no pun intended) ???

BTW...its for the 2003, 2.6 CD saloon. :y

Get a 2.5/3.0 (depending if you want single or twin outlet) from the likes of Eternal or ETS.  It will be a tad short due to bulbous rear bumper, but no issue (or add trim piece if it upsets you).
