Recomissioning a car with no MOT and on a SORN note
« on: 24 October 2015, 09:44:58 »

My HG failure 2.2 is now repaired, untaxed, on a SORN note, and sitting on my lawn. To recomission it I presume I must first insure it, book an MOT, submit for MOT. I presume I can drive it home from the MOT whether it passes or fails without breaking the law. If it passes I can tax it. If it fails I can repair and try again. Am I right?

That's about right.,
Car has to be going to or returning from a pre-arranged mot (booked)

Yep, as long as it has insurance cover and a pre-booked MOT. :y
