But according to ECU scan the 73 indicates a faulty Air Flow Meter

Code 73 sometimes thrown as result of faulty crank sensor (code 19) - rectify the code 19 first.  Fit replacement crank sensor - use genuine GM only.  HTH

Code 73 sometimes thrown as result of faulty crank sensor (code 19) - rectify the code 19 first.  Fit replacement crank sensor - use genuine GM only that you have physically had to go to the genuine dealer to physically order/collect it fromHTH
Fixed for clarity...
Buying from ebay/amazon/Gumtree is done at your peril :y

Next to oil filter...

If you mean part number, then ring dealer with chassis/engine number.

Ok, I recall that my crankshaft was replaced a few years ago...
At the time I toke the part number from the old one and got different plug with the same sensor!
Since than I always get the crankshaft error.
Question, where can i see the end plug?

Problem solved!

The problem was more extensible than expected I find myself with lots of serious problems ...
The first:

- loss of coolant
- hight temperatures
- lack of heat inside of the vehicle
- drop of rpm
- loss of power

And the list goes on...
So the first thing I did was coming here and expect you guys to help me which worked :)
First step, fixed coolant loss as I stated in another post changed the HBV but that was not enough a small hose was broken (the hose that connects the HBV to the engine), next a small pump beneath the expansion tank was replaced and after that still no heat inside of the vehicle but no coolant loss anymore. I suspected of lack of vacuum and had to fix the hose that connects the manyfold to the break servo pump, toke it off and fixed in shop that handles compressed air and hydraulics stuff... 6€ quite cheap awesome work! Everything worked like a charm... even heat!

But the problems keep going, so after repair the obvious car started to stall every now and then till the worst case scenario...
I've read about and come across with paperclip test!
After five minutes toke courage and did it seriously! My wife saying "Take the car to the Opel dealer and stop being so  stubborn you won't be able to fix it, it ahead of you"!

Ten minutos later i found out the codes... a little research find out the possible problems!
Ho my God, so much broken sensors... I toke a serious challenge to repair by my self and i got it!
Bought the parts on Ebay, Amazon, German shops as Uk shops as well the parts arrived and I replaced them one by one!
But the car still stall till replaced the crankshaft sensor.

Now it is awesome!
All parts from Bosch apart from the hose and the heater bypass valve GM.

Water Circulation Electrical Pump -> 52€
Heater Bypass Valve -> 30€
Hose -> 25€
MAF Sensor -> 180€
Butterfly Sensor -> 54€
Crank Shaft Sensor -> 43€
Idle Air Control Valve  -> 63€
Expansion Tank Cap -> 8€
Vacuum Hose -> 6€

Plus some other minor stuff!
I achieved success!
I'm happy for all the work I've done by my self!
Thank you so much to all of you...
