iPhone 5 battery
« on: 06 November 2015, 20:23:00 »

As some of you may know, Apple and I are not on speaking terms. The iPhone 5 I "inherited" (there must be a proper word for this) from my daughter, fell into the bracket which meant that it was entitled to a free battery change." Ahh" thinks I "with a bit of luck, when I send it off for its new battery, it will get lost/stolen either outbound or inbound."
 >:( >:( >:( Today a brand new iPhone arrives. >:( >:( >:(

Sigh.....

I don't see what the problem is here tbh, I'd be pleased with that result  :y

Thank you Steve, yes my two tin cans work well when the string holds.
It was a new iPhone 5 not 6, I just don't get on with it, or the iPad Air Mrs S had for Xmas. I like a phone with buttons that works as a phone, not one that nags me every time I switch it on for either a password or tells me I haven't backed it up to a cloud, why do I need to back it up? There is nothing on it! >:( >:( >:(

Mrs TB had a sense of humour failure when her screen got smashed.

I struggled to get a screen cheaper than Apple would do it for me on her gayPhone 6. So I let them do it for £79, which also preserved its warranty.

Same here  ;D :y :y
Its the second 4s i've had and if O2 will give me another next June when the contracts up, i'll probably take it.

Does what it says on the tin and tbh, its just the right size to fit in my pocket unlike these newer phones.
Pretty solid with a bit of weight behind it so you know when its in your pocket too  :y
