TD AC Compressor
« on: 08 November 2015, 15:31:49 »

While underneath changing my power steering motor, (fixed the lack of PS, I'm pleased to say), I noticed a significant green leak from the TD AC compressor.
Has anyone changed one, or does anyone have a diagram of its mountings/connections please?
It may well be that it is easier to remove first before disconnecting the hoses as I found on the 3.2. :y

It's a while since I changed mine, but other than connecting the pipe work up last ...... i can't remember how it fitted. It was more awkward than difficult though

Definatly more awkward than difficult. Is your car a PLF or FL? PFL have four bolt fixing whare FL have three bolt. If PFL and yours is goosed, I have one that I bought for my FL in error before knowing there was a differance

From memory, TD one nice and accessible (V6 one is easy, but harder to see mounting bolts).

Yes but I don't think looks as difficult as the one I changed last year on the 3.2.:y
