Could have been a leak then.  Maybe the plastic was already cracked and you didn't notice it. :-\

I've had a few plastic parts of my system fail. They are generally pretty poor quality and have to survive a bit of heat. :-\

Possible  :-\
Even when running on petrol, it has always seemed heavy on juice  :-\
If i've had a vacuum leak there, it would answer a lot of questions that have been floating around since i've had it  :-\

My sensor is inline between the KME Gold and the 2,4,6 bank so it was tie wrapped to the front of the across engine cable tray along with the pipework for that side.
It does get pretty warm around there  :-\

It will have to wait now though, just been told i've got to travel upto Carlisle tomorrow afternoon for a 10 hour shift tomorrow night starting at 8pm  :(
If i'm back for the weekend, i'll have a play with the new one then see how it runs  :-\

Right, after paddling through mud and shite in Carlisle / Lancaster last week and not getting home until last Saturday afternoon, I finally got the car rebuilt up on Sunday  :y
Took it for a good blast upto York and back yesterday (Christmas shopping) and I must say, its running a hell of a lot better  :y :y
Much smoother and its idling better too so that says to me I had a few little air leaks  :-\

I'll bodge the old sensor and keep it as a spare in case some ham fisted bastid breaks it again  ::) :-X

Off back upto Cumbria later for another 4, 11 hour piggin nightshifts starting tonight  :(
The things you do for money  ::) ;D

Thanks for your help lads  :)
