Andy. Yes I am afraid so as they were both built by the same outfit (Cleveland Bridge and Engineering company) and it too has seen a dramatic increase in daily use. Might not be so many heavy lorries though.  However that bridge in the background looks a mighty fine piece of engineering - probably Victorian. ;D

1859 - One of Brunel's finest :)

It is a hybrid design using the chains made for the Clifton suspension bridge flanking tubular iron arches so the outward thrust of the arches balances the tension of the chains.

That is a stunning piece of engineering. Shall have to pop up down and give it a couple of coats of looking at. :y
