Boot Lid Central Locking
« on: 16 December 2015, 14:10:01 »

Hi Gang,
Popped open the boot lid with my key fob in the usual way, loaded it with rubbish for the tip, got to the tip and the boot won't open with either fob or inside dash button.
Back home I managed to release the boot by crawling inside and pulling the manual toggle opener.
Removed inside boot lid panel and on visual inspection everything looks very clean and no sign of frayed or broken wires, loose fitting plugs or obvious damage.
With car fully locked the fob operates the central locking on all four doors and the petrol cap but not the boot.
Any suggestions would be of great help.
Thanks,
Porky

I should also mention that I renewed all the wiring to the boot lid some time ago as a result of losing my reversing lights. I made sure that the new join was inside the boot above the spare wheel and have checked the wiring which appears to be good.
Cheers,
