Installing Bose.
« on: 17 January 2016, 15:49:38 »

I started installing a Bose (ccr2006) setup in my saloon a couple of years ago. I got as far as installing the amp & rear shelf speakers, and running the Bose loom up to the drivers footwell.
I then found that my car doesn't have the connector there for the loom and I will need to make a loom to go from there to the headunit.
Im now thinking of revisiting the project, and am wondering if anyone has any pics or a wiring diagram for this ?
Thanks in advance.

What's currently in the footwell?, you shouldn't need to do much, no satnav, GSM to worry about, you should have speaker outs down there, so probably missing the Amp Volt supply plus something else I have'nt thought of.

Just found a complete Bose loom in a cardboard box on the back seat, including the plug / wiring from the footwell to the H/U. Its been there for over two years and I forgot what was in the box. :-[ ;D
The loom is from and NCDC unit with the satnav / GSM wiring etc. so I presume the wiring I need is all there, but plenty of extra wires too. Just a matter of sorting whats what.  :y

Think I grafted the plug on when I installed Bose in Mrs VXL's old estate, although you will need to run the speaker outputs from the HU to the plug. Pretty sure I did it in a Traffic master loom but then my memory is failing these days!
