Sorry to hear that Dean. Ideally you need to not be using that PC for anything, especially not banking etc :-\

I would go as far as to ask if the pay issue you had a while back was when you started having pc issues? Could be a lesson there for everyone :-\

I appreciate that won't be of any solace but it might make you think twice about keeping the pc irrespective of whether you replace it sooner or later...

As for the rest of the issue, get in touch with Stepchange :y
And shelter, they really are on your side  :y
Ste who are they, and would they look after the wife.Dean.

Bearing in mind that I'm a complete ignoramus luddite.  ::)  Would a new hard drive and/or memory card give Dean a 'clean' lappy?  :-\

Hell of a lot cheaper if so.  :y
Hi Trigger, thanks for that. But it seams the experts on here say it would not make any difference.

They will help with your housing needs. Everything from advice to communicating with your landlord and even putting your case for you in court.

Said all I can on the computer stuff Moggy and agree with TuBy and Guffer  :(

I don't know if you have freecycle up in your parts but you may find somebody who is turfing out a old PC for nothing. If you was closer, i've got a few very old towers which you could probably make something usable out of  :-\

As for the money shite, i've been there and eventually come out the other side mate as has a few on here  :)
I believe Al (Harris K Telemacher) is probably the most current on the rules and regulations.

I ended up a friggin mental wreck over it and tbh, a few on here suffered with my rants I came out with  :-[

All I will say (because I don't know your circumstances) is this ................

No matter what threats these financial oppsers come out with, they can't take what you haven't got.
Once you get your head around that, a lot of the stress goes out of the window  ;)

As Al recommended, ring Stepchange and the Citizens Advise Centre for starters and just be 100% honest (no matter how embarrassing) with them and if by any chance your ex military, pick up the phone to the Royal British Legion because they saved my arse when I was in a VERY Very dark place.
