Where the exhaust front, post cat connects to the centre section of the exhaust on the flange there is no gasket in there. Are they just a tapered fit then and do I need to re-tighten  bolts to seal or should I put some exhaust sealant past in there and then re-tighten the bolts?

I had a new clutch put in a while back and they couldn't of tightened the two bolts up tight enough.

Thanks

I believe its a taper. Should be fine without paste, but if not, a thin smear of paste before fitting to taper.

Key is to clean it up properly first.
