A bit sad
« on: 06 February 2016, 14:54:59 »

Six Nations has kicked off this afternoon :y First match is France v Italy,so far all good. What makes me a little sad is that not one ticket for this match has been sold since the November terrorist attacks in Paris.Coincidence or related I don't know.I'm not advocating that people should deliberately put themselves in the firing line, but if you're not going to go to this place or that place or this event or that event because there may be a terrorist attack then you're going to finish up hiding behind your own front door because nowhere is immune from such a thing. The bad guys will have won and sooner or later they'll turn up on your doorstep.

As I understand it, although I could well be wrong, the match was fully sold out months ago, just like Twickenham and Murrayfield are .. tickets are like gold dust.. so the reason no tickets have been sold is .. there are none available .. and linking that to the terrorist attack is pure bullshit journalism looking to MAKE a story where none exists
