Leatherman multi tool question
« on: 14 February 2016, 19:14:46 »

I have a leatherman and have used them for ages in the past ( well actually a gerber ) but I have just bought a leatherman to replace it .
I use it at work and it is used nearly everyday
My question is how would I stand if it was worn on my belt out in public ? Thinking about the knife laws etc would any one know ?

Blade has to be less than 3.5" I think.
I wear my Gerber sport 400 all the time in the UK (scotland) and all the time over here in Spain who have similar knife laws
Really don't know the legality of it but I have never been stopped for wearing it.

CJ Act S.139 allows every day carry in a public place of a sub 3" non-locking blade without needing a reason. It is allowable to carry in a public place another type of knife (fixed or locking blade, over 3") or even a sword if it is for religious reasons, national costume or the bearer has a reasonable explanation, such as work or recreational purposes.
