The TM is now a redundant system, which is a shame because it was a wicked helper for UK Motorways and main A Roads.  Use to use mine all the time on the M25 Carpark :'(

No nothing about the Panasonic, but being Panasonic its probably a left over module from some set up.

Most post 1998 Omegas came with the TrafficMaster Oracle system, a subscription based traffic warning system. A great system is was as well, very useful, and a service that I miss :(

TM Oracle had 2 problems that were the final nail in its coffin - 1) the licencing/encryption was badly broken, so all the freetards abused it without paying, 2) technology moves on, and traffic info tends to be integrated into satnav systems now.

TM Oracle was switched off 3 or 4 yrs ago.

Thanks for the Traffic master info,it also has had fitted at some point this Panasonic sat nav which is a separate screen and dvd drive fitted in the glove box.The disc is Navtech from 2003 Western Europe so quite out of date and from what i've read also now not supported. Was fitted to Saab and Mazda i believe looks to have been quite a bit of work to fit....
