Right, another twist. I have just completed the throttle cleaning process as described and there was a lot of crud in there so glad I did it. Upon starting the engine I still have engine light on, when I repeat the pedal trick to identify the fault code it does not give me anything??? Is this now a case of disconnecting the battery to reset the Ecu?
Many thanks for all who have helped with this, I know it must be testing your patience, maybe even as much as mine 😀

Have just tried pedal trick again and it is showing 1555 still so same as before I cleaned the throttle. Would this have reset or will I need to get it reset? Also, will disconnecting the battery work? Thanks
