Insignia help
« on: 12 April 2016, 20:44:06 »

My mate has an insignia elite and he says it has a factory fitted camera on the dashboard but has no idea how to access it/get into it.
Apparently it's a camera that kicks in and automatically slows you down if it detects a change in speed limit on a road eg 50 mph to 30 mph
Anyone know what system it will be or any links to a manual so he can start using it
Cheers

Nah.  It'll show you what speed you *should* be doing, but it won't slow you down.

Also has lane departure warning and other stuff which is equally useless.  :y

I had Insignia Elite 2 yrs ago, and make sure that got the camera , because thats very very rare,
there is season which looks like camera very close to the mirror but it is for detecting lights of incoming vehicles and signs ( but only for light )

If he got camera for speed readings - it must be option in the main screen on the computer.
