I regularly use Interparcel for heavier / larger items. As with other similar companies, they have an account with all the couriers which keeps prices down. They compare services and costs and you select which you want. Collect from home or work, or you can drop off at a 'click and collect' point local to you which saves waiting for it to be collected.
I sold a crankshaft and pair of camshafts a for a classic car to a chap in the USA and booked it through Interparcel, which were in a crate and heavy. Delivered the following day to the buyer (although I must have been lucky with the transAtlantic flight....)!
Very good service every time, in my opinion.

A length of 150mm plastic drainpipe isn`t going to add a lot to the weight of the parcel, and if needs be you can get 215mm too, if you know anyone in the building trade they might be able to get you some foc from site  ;)
