It will also be overtaking the slower lorries when going uphill.  Result is more tailbacks.

It won't be any use Ove here it's to long, and will be limited to 56, no use in Australia, run out of fuel, and the yanks won't buy it as it's unproven, and doesn't have a Caterpillar under the hood.,
Nascar and Indy teams might go for them.

Gas turbines were tested in the 60's by ford and I think BL.

just been looking at the Volvo Skylon whilst I was looking for thier electric/hybrid truck

  Seem to remember Leyland had a concept truck with a turbine based around a futuristic looking Marathon( now thats going back ;D) tractor unit
