Headlight washers
« on: 15 May 2016, 20:20:41 »

Facelift headlight washers .... on an Irmscher bumper .... are they fixed the same as an "ordinary" bumper ??? I can't find anything in my version of the EPC

Nearside one is held in by a sort of large U-shaped clip that slides between a lug and the inside of the bumper to hold it in position... off side one has nowt and the washer just keeps moving around.

Can't be more than a quid or two from the stealers but I was "hoping" to go in armed with a part number ....

Anyone any ideas what they are called or any other useful info please ??

:)

Thanks for thread. My n/s headlight washer nozzle is loose on my 2003 3.2 and needs attention. Is fitting the washer a bumper off job?

On the facelift yes ... but its only a 5 minute job to remove it. You can't attack it from underneath as the crash bar gets in the way. No need to disconnect anything .. I just move the bumper forward and rest it on two old milk crates.  :)

Picked up a brand new "retaining spring for headlamp washer" part number 90508376, listed at £0.99 + VAT but with ABS discount it was £0.90 + VAT  :y :y

Many thanks for the help and the offers to supply one, but at that price it's cheaper than the postage !!
