Squeaky windscreen wipers
« on: 30 June 2016, 05:44:19 »

My sister complains that the Vx windscreen wiper blades that I recently fitted to her Meriva squeak. Can anyone suggest a less squeaky variety of blade?

Clean windscreen with vinegar and news paper, and blades too. Old skool solution.

Yep, plus Meths is good for Blades, in fact anything made of rubber.

Years ago my Dad would clean the windscreen with meths and a very fine wire wool once a month.

Anything that is acidic tbh
I've used lemon juice before and I know my grandad used to rub his wipers with a old apple core before it went in the bin  :y
