Do you need new due to accident, or would a good polishing of the lenses sort it.

I bought my last two brand new ones from my Vx dealer, but even with TC you cry about the price; it is worth it though for a lovely set of mint, ex-factory  ;)ones! :D :D :D

Incidentally I was told (back in early March) that the o/s one was the last in Luton, and the n/s one of the last 6 :-X

You'd need to check your local laws, as retrofitting HIDs is a grey area in UK, who follow EU rules, so grey area in EU.  But Norway, I have no idea.

Actually fitting HIDs is trivial, its the requirements around washers and levelling that make it hard.

Replacement headlight adjusters available online, about £10-12 each, about 45mins per headlight to fit.

Retrofitting hids is pretty much the same in norway. You have to fit the entire levelling system and headlight washers i believe to make it legal. The projector headlights from around 98 is a better/easier option.

Have managed to find a pair of xenon headliights, from a 98' dono rcar. Do i have to use the connector from the donor car ? The connections for the xenon light and level adjusters are different from the original headlights.

Main beam, side lights and indicators should all be the same. Dipped beam power goes to the blast pack rather than the bulb, hence the different plug.

The levelling motors get swapped with your old ones for functional, but manual rather than auto levelling... Xenons have sensors on each axle and an ecu behind the righthand headlight to replace the wheel on the headlight switch.

Washers have a relay controlled pump. This relay is powered by the headlight feed, ie lights on pump gets power, and pump is switched via the front washers... Separate pump and plumbing to screen washers. Pre/mid facelift washers are telescopic and made from rocking horse poo.
