Power Steering Failure

Hi Everyone,
New to the forum, Power Steering failed this afternoon whilst reversing onto driveway??
Auxiliary Belt Fine, Fluid Fine, No Leaks, Just went all of a sudden, If there are any Tests I can try Please let me know.
Any Help would be Greatly Appreciated,

1999 2.5 V6 Elite on a T plate..

Or if anybody has a PAS Pump up for grabs local to Bolton..

I know I cannot post in Wanted Yet..

Timbuk - that rings a distant bell.
May not be PAS pump at fault. Could be the relay for example. I'm sure theres some method of diagnosing on here somewhere, but cant remember the details of the top of my head.

Might be worth a PM to the hells angel, Zok, to plug in a code reader to see if relay responding.

My power steering failed suddenly coming off the driveway. The aux belt had a small squeal moments before.

I did change the relay as a maybe, but was quite confident that a relay fault would not cause total loss of the power steering.

New pump solved 95% of the issue.

(theres at least two different types of pulley if my memory serves)
