Climate Control High Pressure Service Valve
« on: 08 July 2017, 15:53:59 »

Hi there, can anyone tell me if the High Pressure Valve is part of the pipe or can it be removed/replaced. It's leaking.

Thanks for any help.

Yes, HP valve can be replaced.  There is a guide somewhere on here, and there was a post a bit ago with Part numbers.

Part is cheap as chips at the Vauxhall Stealer  :y

Changed mine a few months ago  :y (obviously with AC drained and all nasties sucked out before refilled.

Maybe worth changing the LP valve at the same time - Standard Schrader valve core from memory.

You'd be surprised how many 'experts' will tell you the valve is integral to the pipe .....  ???
