A tad damp here this morning
« on: 23 August 2017, 13:09:34 »

Apparently we had three weeks worth of rain in one hour. It was slightly inconvenient as I was out with the dog, and sheltering under a tree was out of the question because of the lightning (doggie was terrified) and the fact that it was literally coming down like a waterfall. We got wet.....a bit  ::)
On the way home, in the car, it was astounding to see how many people have no idea how to approach and drive through floodwater in the road. Girlies in their corsas ploughing through at 30mph, almost coming to a dead stop it was so deep. Lorry drivers relishing the thought of catching a couple of pedestrians unaware. Utter flicking chaos.
Anyway, the suns out now..and the mutt has dried out and stopped shaking, so we're off out again soon.
