Ashtray Unit Removal - Pre Facelift.

Hi all,

I just want to pop the whole unit out, to run a USB wire at the back.

On looking, there are 3 black screws set back on the top of the unit (left, right and central). 

I assume if I undo these the whole thing pulls straight out ?

Very easy. Just one screw in the top/centre of the ashtray unit. Remove ashtray itself as you would to empty it to gain access to the centre screw. Remove that and whole unit just pulls out. Cant remember about the left/right screw but think they are just needed if you wanna remove the whole central dash area.

To run a wire behind the ashtray, the whole centre console bit has to come out.  See the guide for replacing climate panel bulbs for info....
