is it possible to change the bearings in the alternator or do i have to buy a new 1. anybody know how much they cost. need 1 urgently.

You can change the bearings, not hard at all and the bearings are about a tenner a pair from any bearing factors.

Front bearing is: 6303-2RS
Rear Bearing is: 6203-2RS

Its the rears that get noisy!
