As for Crimble Spirit.... >:(

No Sorry,  I don't buy into any religon at all, it's not about MASS, any more, it's about Greed.
People trying to sell you stuff you cannot afford, or don't want, and wouldn't want to give to anyone else.
Shitty TV Adverts, every 15 mins about some other Special Christmas commercial product from Tailand.
Snow on the Adverts.... Pointless.
Father Crimble everywhere.....crap idea
Toys with Batteries not included...!!!
XBOX games that cost 35 quid a peice and Consoles that are £300 a peice.
The whole point of Cristmas has been lost.... I just like going to my families house or my Inlaws place, getting merry, tucking into some proper food, have a laugh with the Family, and chilling out for a few days- now they expect pressies, like you said, and it's not a nice surprise....

Cursed damn commercial organisations running and ruining Christmas.

The original St. Nick also wore green. It was Coca-Cola that changed the image to red, to promote their product. That is all the proof you need that Christmas is no longer a religious holiday, but a commercial goldmine.

Like you though, I really enjoy spending time with family and friends over christmas, and I think the gifts are a great way to treat your closest ones with something they will appreciate, and not usually buy themselves. The commercial side does have some positive aspects, but people shouldn't just 'expect' presents.
