 a week ago my laptop thinks its moved about 60mls southeast . dont know how thats happened. ??? ???

Might help.

It's in part down to where your Internet service physically connects to the Internet.

Occasionally my devices have my location as Brighton, and whilst it may not be 60 miles away, it is definitely in a different county.
