Does that mean then, that as a newly qualified driver you're allowed to tow a 1750kg trailer/caravan with a 1750kg car? ie 100%
Maximum trailer weight is 750 kgs....

Oh! As, obviously it doesn't affect me I've never really taken much notice, but I'd always thought that as long as the total didn't exceed 3 & 1/2 tonne you were within the new rules, but as again ...... I'm wrong.
Just another level of beuraucracy that costs us all. I can't see that compared to the millions of miles travelled by Joe Public that trailer accidents counts very high in them.
