OK, time to spill.
Having sold my last Omega and bought my current one via the forum, ex-Mrs bob.dent is joining in. She phoned me rather upset a few days ago saying that her insurance company were going to write off her her car after she took in in for an estimate. She said she wanted another estate car and could I help her find one, so I said if she fancied an Omega, I'd check out the forum and put some feelers out.
Anyway, to cut a long story short we found one that she really liked that forum member Ians was selling, so the sale was agreed. As Ian is bringing it to Newent anyway this weekend, we came up with a plan to make the hand over at Newent on Saturday. As ex-Mrs bob.dent lives in Barnstaple in North Devon, I'll be shooting down the M5 from Newent on Sat morning (not too early!!
) and picking her up from junction 27 roundabout on the M5 then bring her back to Newent to collect her new Mig. Then on Sunday I'll be driving Ian and his Mrs back to Reading on my way home. I love it when a plan comes together......the power of OOF strikes again
One problem could arise from this happy little story, it probably means that ex-Mrs bob.dent is highly likely to become an OOF member! :-?
