.......This 'going through a red light' used as an example, I see people chancing their arm most days, and they're not elderly. . ...

Just seen a Sprinter van go through read lights today, they'd been red for a good few seconds too. It was a set of lights om the A5 where there were 3 lanes .... 1 & 2 were for going straight on, lane 3 was to turn right only .... he was in lane 3!

There is a cafe adjacent to a zebra crossing on the main road here. People park on the zig zags to pop in. When I was younger that was a hanging offence. I saw a works van parked on them yesterday and two coppers in a corsa just drove past, never batted an eyelid. ....

I regularly see similar outside a take-away on my way home ..... coppers don't take any notice.

I think that TD is spot on. They will stand a better chance of getting older, dangerous drivers off the road. I'd better watch myself then.

Where I live there is an invisible ray gun just outside town that renders everyone beyond that point colour blind to red.
