Buildings & Contents insurance .
« on: 13 June 2022, 13:38:25 »

Just had our renewal through from The Halifax £193.53 down from £201.47 last year, been recommended to try the NFU for a quote, exactly the same cover £907.56 will stick with what we've got had a claim in 2014 & they were excellent, nothing special 4 bedroom detached with a double garage , SWMBO fell about laughing when she heard the guy on the phone.

I pay a similar amount....I think

Funny.....I can always remember exactly how much I pay for car insurance, but can only guess how much It cost to insure the house.

Same with car registration. First car was FUE 756K but can barely remember any of the others. :-[

I cant remember my Capri or Viceroy, which spanned 1983 to 1991, but pretty sure I can remember all those before and after.

I can remember every vehicles registration number of every car I've ever had, and telephone numbers of friends & relatives never need to look them up a totally useless "gift" but handy.

I know my Dad's mobile number as he's had it that long I used to ring it from an old dial phone. I can remember my own mobile (just!) but as you/we never actually dial numbers anymore I don't know them ... couldn't even tell you Mrs B's number  :-\
