What does the steering equaliser clamp do?
« on: 26 May 2025, 18:47:16 »

Wee fork shaped thing between steering box and inner wing. I know it's important. I'm fairly sure I know where I've put it.

I'm just curious what it's for and why it's available in different thicknesses?

Spacer shim :-\

Possibly different ones available to accommodate different steering box arrangements between early/late and different engines...

Was the base 2.0 ever sold in other markets without power steering for example... In the same way that different idler lengths exist.

Ahhh gotcha. Seems like a weird solution but hey it's now in and I can finish upsetting the neighbours with my saucy language... For now.
