Women's Euros

I don't like watching womens football usually, but that was quite good. Good if you like watching a team with their backs to the wall for most of the game then winning on penalties. Well done, ladies.

I am not into football at all other than I just watch the end of the finals to see the score.

But this time I saw the end of the last match so recorded the finals.  They played brilliantly and deserve the result :y :y

Well done :y :y

I only watch Euros and World Cup matches.

Very little beats an England versus Spain game in a local bar!

Well done the Lionesses! I see there are calls for an extra bank holiday. Would there be one less if they had lost?

I used to prefer womens footie, because blokes footie results in everyone falling over if you go within 20' of another player - it's a contact sport FFS, even if you are a nancy boy.  But as money has been poured into the womens game, the Spanish were falling over like, well, women.

Aside from their inability to stay upright, I think the Spanish were unlucky to lose that game, they very much were the better side for most of the game.  But the English girlies held on, fair play to them.
