Had to at the workshop this morning to take delivery of 3 sheets of steel, of course while I was waiting my pallet delivery turned up at home. I did ask him to drop it outside my garage but there was a car parked in the entrance so no chance of backing a lorry in. Now I have to wait another day for delivery, thing is there is no delivery time on tracking.
Since when have sellers or deliverers given a shit about about the convenience of the customer?  ;)
Perhaps, but equally if you want something delivered somewhere other than your house, you need to make sure the correct address is on the order.

If you sold Tesco's 40,000 somethings, and delivered them to the billing address, you'd be sent packing.

"Had to at the workshop this morning... while I was waiting my pallet delivery turned up at my house"

Doesn't make much sense as the steel could easily have turned up on a pallet. Notwithstanding had to what at the workshop...

Seriously pissed off to find that this app has been added to my phone. Keep an eye on your apps folks as it’s happening to a load of people. I immediately uninstalled it but I’m bloody furious. Who the hell does that moron Starmer think he is.  >:(

Seriously pissed off to find that this app has been added to my phone…..

I’m trying to work out how this app appeared as I only use my phone for calling people, WhatsApp and photos. I never download apps as my phone is a phone, no games, no music, no nothing really. I use my iPad for this forum and YouTube, so I definitely haven’t downloaded it.  :-\

Edit:
Hold tight, this could be me being a div.  ::)  :-[  I had to verify some paperwork the other day, can’t for the life of me remember what it was, and I had to use the phone’s camera whilst holding my passport close so that the check page could read the chip on the front of the passport. I bet that was when the app was downloaded (not by me), so hopefully nothing sinister, just me being a pillock.  :-[

My phone told me it wanted to do a software update this morning, but I told it to do it later.

I see if that app has been added as part of the update when I get round to doing it.  :-\

I spotted it on mine and googled to see if others had been affected and loads of people had, so I instantly thought it was the new ID check and my blood pressure shot through the roof.  ;D  Apparently this one has been about for a while, and I did prove my ID against my passport chip for some reason a couple of weeks back, so it’s probably me being a div.  ::)
It’s not on my wife’s phone so I’m guessing it was automatically downloaded when I did the passport chip reading. Just odd that I only noticed it today. Can’t recall why I needed my passport though.

Edit:
I’ve just remembered what the camera/passport chip check was for now.  :-[   It was for the bloody Government Gateway. If only I could remember what the hell I needed a Government Gateway for.  ::)  ;D
Dear Lord, I’m going mad, how embarrassing. Still, it will give Stemo and Opti something to take the piss out of me won’t it.  ;D

Your Government Gateway ID is essentially what he wants a card for.

Your Driving Licence or Passport are perfectly acceptable forms of ID.

From our Domestic travel documents page...

"For UK domestic flights
You do not require a passport to travel on domestic flights within the UK, but you will need to show one of the following identification documents to board the flight.

Your ID should be valid for your date of travel and show your photo as well as your name to match your booking:

Passport or Irish Passport Card
Driving licence, either provisional or full
Valid EU national identity card or Swiss Identity Card
Armed forces Identity Card for serving personal or HM Armed Forces Veteran ID card
Valid police warrant card or badge
Children under the age of 16 do not need to show identification when travelling on domestic flights. The accompanying adult must have their own valid photographic identification and be able to confirm the identity of the child."

You can add a staff ID to that list as well. Basically as long as it has been officially issued and is in date with a current photo, then that works.

If you think the current shower can deliver a working IT project in 2 weeks you have a lot more faith in them than I do. ;D
