Any improvements since around now (10:30).  Obviously it tails off around early afternoon

11.10   Page loads in around 2-3 seconds but variable.    Over 55,000 'guests' though, down from 60,500 at 10.50am. 

Since yesterday, those Users Online number do not include visitors we are blocking further up the path.

Thats the trouble with ddos attacks, you're never going to win without throwing huge/expensive resources at it.  And thats a decision we need to start thinking about

Because they can.
Because we have upset somebody.
Because if they overwhelm processes/logs it's easier to hide other activity.
To keep botnets active/busy when not needed.
