Gear knob reverse lifting ring
« on: 28 May 2026, 20:29:52 »

Goodness knows what the actual name is. The bit you lift to go into reverse. Mine is broken because I'm a hamster imbecile (see my recent post re soldering iron)

I assume I need to replace the full gear lever?

My other one is fitted with a totally different knob. No lifting ring. Can it be removed and done away with?

(Not do away with the gearknob completely, that would be ridiculous)

I just cutted the trigger. Works great and engaging reverse is much more pleasing.
