Apparently the process consists of a Committee made up of seven MP,s (probably safe to assume none of those will be from Reform) and seven lay people.
No idea where they find the lay people from, but I doubt any of them will be shelf stackers from the Clacton branch of Lidl.
Could easily be a kangaroo court type scenario, so I assume he is throwing down the gauntlet and pre empting that,by challenging them to defy the voters of Clacton when they vote him back in.

I wonder if we're headed for the BoatyMcBoatface of by-elections.

I read elsewhere that apparently these 'Suspicious Activity Reports' (SARs) are quite commonly forwarded to the National Crime Agency by risk adverse bankers where large sums of money are concerned.

Mostly they get a quick glance and are binned, but of course we are talking about 'Politically Exposed People' (PEP) and so the NCA will take a closer look, especially because it's Farage and Tice.  ::)

It's probably more likely that whoever leaked this confidential financial information to the Guardian has committed a criminal offence than Farage or Tice. We'll never know of course as it's probable that the leak was approved from very high up!  :-X

Tice has claimed that details of his ( and I think Farage) bank accounts were leaked by the NCA, and is demanding a probe into it.
It will be interesting to see what the response is.
