500 miles to a tank out of a 3.0.    Wow, that makes my 286 miles to a tank seem quite pathetic. 

Defo possible, and I have achieved it more than once, but only on those sorts of journeys where you are covering a whole tankful on a steady motorway....    ...to and from the south of France in my case.

I'd say as an average, I'd get 330-350 per tank from my old beloved Silver Bullet.  And that was the old me - I didn't become a reformed character until I got the Big Black Pussy.


I think I mentioned the 3.2 was shit?  If I didn't, for the record, the 3.2 was shit. Did I mention that?
