Hoovered it out to get rid of all sorts of garden debris after doing a tip run last Sunday for one of my grandaughters.

Yes, the o-ring comes attached to a bit of plastic moulding and 1.5m of custom shaped hose.

………..
I’m almost certain it’s a wheel bearing as the noise is definitely wheel speed related, ……

After getting the car in the air and checking all four wheels, there is no play and no grumbling in any of the wheel bearings. A pry bar under the tyre just lifts the suspension. However, when I spin up the drivers side front wheel, I can feel a very slight vibration when I hold the upper suspension arm. I can’t feel this vibration in any of the other wheels, so changing this bearing is my starting point.  :)

Blew a hose off, so for the millionth time in a month, put several litres of coolant back in it.

Finally got the Omega back on the road. Done a couple of road tests, but I keep forgetting to do a left at this roundabout, and ended up twice in TB land ;D ;D ;D
